We provide an opportunity for action if you are willing to sacrifice. Our actions result in a Veteran proudly flying the flag they defended in their front yard. 2025 Volunteer of the Year
John Hanchett
We are proud to announce the Veteran Flagpole Initiative 2025 Volunteer of the Year, John Hanchett. John has demonstrated a willingness and passion to travel all over to serve our Veterans. Last year, John stepped up and served as a Team Lead. Team Leads are our most impactful position because they are charged with coordinating with the Veteran, transporting supplies, and oversight of the installation process. To date, John has installed TWENTY flagpoles for Veterans with no slowing down in sight. John, on behalf of our organization, we thank you for your dedication to the amazing Veterans of this country!
