VFI Install #0002 Wayne Trupiano

Today the Des Moines team consisting of Blaine Garrett, Jonny Wallerich, Matthew M. Doughty, Nick Vellema and myself installed our first flag. This flag was installed at Vietnam Veteran Wayne Trupiano’s house. Wayne has pretty severe dementia along with other health issues so we were unable to meet him. His wife Marina is a Russian immigrant and a very sweet, strong, patient woman. It was a very unique experience to get her take on the current global situation with all of her family still in Russia that she can not see. The install went very smooth and was greatly appreciated. A great experience all around!
