PGI Cedar Valley online with our first flagpole install. MSgt (Ret) Doug Mattson was our first Veteran. He served over 20 years in the Air Force, Seabees, Air National Guard before retiring. We talked about his life, his family, his passion of flying airplanes in his retired years, and all the places he was stationed. Doug is a Vietnam Vet and one of eight veterans in his family. He’s solid in every way.
Bottom line on these installs: get involved. It’s the most productive two hours of your week, and you leave with a feeling of gratitude and a sense of purpose.
